This is a personal website -- it  is not affiliated with XXX High School in Town, State, or with the XXX County School system.

Complaints?  Commendations?  Comments?  Suggestions?  Problems solved reasonably?  Problems handled badly?  Unfair or discriminatory treatment?

This webpage is intended as a gathering place for comments and opinions from teachers, students, parents, and administrators.   Its objective is to exchange information about how well XXX High School is doing, especially regarding students with academic, emotional,  or disciplinary issues.  XXX is a well-regarded high school in Town, State.  It is a large school, with a broad selection of courses and activities, and a wonderfully diverse student body.   Here is a link to more information (not yet linked)  about the school's goals and plans.

Like any large public school, there are both excellent courses and dreadful ones, brilliant teachers and some who are unmotivated or burned-out.  Some administrators and counselors seem to be caring and concerned.  Others seem to be just rigid or mean, not at all concerned with helping students individually.   There may be resource shortages that limit the school's ability to help every kid, especially those with special needs or concerns.

This page will attempt to collect information about the best and the worst of how the school is doing for students that need extra help or assistance.

This is NOT a public message board or blog.  I will only publish comments that are appropriate and non-inflammatory.  Please feel free to send information on your experiences or opinions to (address not yet operational).  I am interested in examples where the school has really helped students in need, and also examples where the school could have done better.  The idea is to shine a light on the system, the good and the bad, so that improvements can be made.  Please include information about how you can be contacted (by email or phone) if you would be interested in explaining more about your situation or concern.  Please also note if you want your comments to be confidential or "off-the-record."  Thank you for your help!

Please email (address not yet operational) with questions, comments, or concerns.  Relevant comments will be posted in the main text below.
